I was fortunate enough to paddle the Fuse 56 down the Gauley River two week in a row. The first day I took it out on the Lower at 2500cfs. I was very impressed on how it ran rapids. I never felt unstable and I could put it wherever I wanted to. The area it shines the most in is surfing. Its very loose and didn't pearl like other boats. For the length the Fuse has great hull speed. I could do attainments with ease and I never though I couldn't catch a wave.

The next day I got it on the Upper Gauley at 2800cfs and this is where I was most impressed with the boat. Going down the big five I didn't have any issues, even though others in the group did... We also stopped and played at some of the bigger spots like Insignificant wave, Geeks, and the holes below Sweet's Falls. I though the biggest blunt of my life on Insignificant. It is the perfect Gauley River boat.
