Attend this fun-filled annual paddling event at Eastwood MetroPark Lake on Saturday, June 2, from 9:00-6:00 p.m. This event features kayak Demo Days and offers the opportunity to try out a multitude of the newest kayaks on the market. Many kayak manufacturers will be represented including Pyranha, P&H and Venture, Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Wave Sport, Jackson Kayak, LiquidLogic, and Eskimo. No paddling experience needed. The Dayton Canoe Club will sponsor the canoe and kayak classes which are geared towards the novice paddler and promote safety, skill development, and enjoyment. These classes are taught by American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instructors on a first come, first serve basis.
Directions: From I-75 in Dayton take the Route 4 exit (54C) North towards Springfield. Go 2-3 miles and take the Harshman Road Exit and follow it to the right. Turn Right into Eastwood Lake. From Columbus take I-70 to Route 4 South towards Dayton. Go approximately 8 miles. Take the Harshman Road Exit, turn Left. Turn Right into Eastwood Lake.
