Get started with an advantage!  This hands-on class will introduce you to the basic skills and information needed to begin open water and lake paddling.  During this two hour session you will become acquainted with the necessary equipment, learn the basic paddle strokes and concepts, along with a variety of safety topics directly related to the different aspects of kayak touring.  Participants should meet at Whitewater Warehouse at 5:30 p.m.; and the class will be held in the Bluehole Lake at Eastwood MetroPark  from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Dress to get wet.  Minimum of 3 participants required. Space is limited & reservations are required.  Fee: $40; or $50 if you need equipment.
