This will be two seperate classes of moving water
instruction (one recreational class; and one whitewater class) that deals
with controlling your kayak on the river. You will learn to perform a variety
of maneuvers that will improve your paddling ability, promote confidence, and
help you avoid hazards frequently encountered on the river. Meet at
Whitewater Warehouse at 5:15-5:30. The class will be held on the Mad
River and runs from 6-8:00 p.m. Dress to get wet. Minimum of
3 participants required in each class. Space is limited &
reservations are required. Pre-requisite of Kayak Basics, Quickstart or
the equivalent. Fee: $50; or $60 if you need equipment.
