Whitewater Kayaking is an adventurous discipline that utilizes smaller boats that are designed to be very maneuverable. This style of kayaking requires commitment and equipment. Our Whitewater classes and clinics are for those interested in running whitewater rivers and excepting the challenge (and thrill) associated with this exciting sport!

Rocky Fork and Paint Creek

 

This class is for whitewater paddlers with at least a season of moving water experience who want to work on perfecting basic skills as well as develop more advanced techniques. Developing effective skills, timing, boat control and basic play will be the focus. Held on the beautiful Rocky Fork and Paint Creek, (class I-3), located just east of Hillsboro, approximately 1 ½ hours from Dayton. There will be a minimum requirement of protective clothing that you will need to participate, due to the expected temperatures of March and April. Cost will be $75. Equipment rentals available for an additional fee. Reservations required & Limited.
