Learn the skill of kayak rolling or fine tune your existing roll! Lessons will be held on Eastwood Lake and will be personally structured based on your skill level. This class is appropriate for both whitewater and touring boaters. Reservations are required for both lessons and equipment rentals. One hour of instruction is $40. One ½ hour is $25. New boaters should schedule 1 ½ hours for their first class which will run $60. Equipment rentals are $10. A minimum of two people are required to hold the class. After attending a couple of roll sessions you'll be ready to take the next step. During the first week of August we are offering two follow up classes. The first is Kayak Basics, where we will go over your strokes and begin to develop boat control. The second will be a Basic River Running class which will be held on the Mad River. During this class you'll learn to deal with moving water by learning eddy turns, peel outs and ferry's, among other things. The combination of Kayak Basics and Basic River Running will be $100.
