Recreational Kayaking is a very user friendly type of kayaking. The boats used are generally wide and stable and are designed to track in a straight line. Recreational kayaking is very popular in this region.

This is the second class in a three part recreational series. This will be moving water instruction that deals with controlling your kayak on the river. You will learn to perform a variety of maneuvers that will improve your paddling ability, promote confidence, and help you avoid hazards frequently encountered on the river. Meet at Whitewater Warehouse at 5:30. The class will be held on the Mad River and runs from 6-8:00 p.m. Dress to get wet. Equipment included. Minimum of 3 participants required. Space is limited & reservations are required. Fee: $50; or $60 if you need equipment.
