What happens if I flip over in the lake? During this fun filled, hands-on class you will discover the answer to that question and many more. You will practice how to re-enter a kayak after falling out in the lake, how to get a swamped boat to shore, how to self rescue, and what you can do to assist others in need. These are skills that should be practiced before you actually need them in an on the water situation. For Touring and Recreational. Participants should meet at Whitewater Warehouse at 5:30 p.m.; and the classes will run from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Dress to be wet. Minimum of 3 participants required. Space is limited & reservations are required. Fee: $40; or $50 if you need equipment.
