Get started with an advantage! This hands-on class will introduce you
to the basic skills and information needed to begin kayaking in a safe
and enjoyable way. During this two hour session you will become
acquainted with the necessary equipment, learn the basic paddle strokes
and concepts, along with a variety of safety topics. Participants
should meet at Whitewater Warehouse between 5:15-5:30 p.m.; and the class will be
held on the calm waters in Eastwood MetroPark from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Dress to get wet. Minimum of 3 participants required. Space is limited
& reservations are required. Fee: $40; or $50 if you need
equipment. This class is brought to you jointly by Whitewater Warehouse
