Oh yeah! The newest boat from Pyranha is out, ready to destroy your local creeks and destination paddling experiences. Just to let everyone know the name Shiva derives from the Hindu religion and means God of Destruction. But hey this isn't a world religion course. The Shiva is a high volume river running/creeking machine. It has tons of volume to keep the paddler on the surface in turbulent waters and a rounded(displacement)hull that aides in softer landings on steeper drops. The Shiva also has ample amounts of rocker on both bow and stern which allows the boat to both climb over hydraulics and destroy those monster boofs! There is also a nice chine on the hull that makes the boat carve into eddies with ease. The designers at Pyranha have also changed the cockpit rim for a dryer more comfy paddling experience. Lastly, the paddlers position in the boat is kind of low. This lowers the paddlers center of gravity and will making rolling a breeze. The Shiva is will be available in three sizes.
