Paddle in the Park – 11th Annual Demo Day
Saturday, June 5
Come one, come all… to the 11th Annual Paddle in the Park. This fun-filled event will be held on the Eastwood MetroPark Lake, on Saturday, June 5, from 10-4:00 p.m. The kayak Demo Days portion of the event offers the opportunity to try out a multitude of the newest kayaks on the market. Many kayak manufacturers will be represented including Pyranha, P&H, Venture Kayaks, Feel Free, Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Wave Sport, Jackson
 Kayak, Native Watercraft, and LiquidLogic.
In addition to kayaks we will have Stride Standup Paddle Boards available for you to try out. Werner Paddles will be on hand to answer your paddle questions. There will be recreational boats, fishing kayaks, plastic and high end composite touring boats, standup paddle boards, and of course whitewater boats. No paddling experience needed.
The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. For those new to kayaking there will be free classes available to help you get started and get comfortable in a boat.
Paddle in the Park is a partnership between Whitewater Warehouse, Great Miami Outfitters, the Dayton Canoe Club, Five Rivers Metro Parks, Five Rivers Outdoors, and the Miami Conservancy District (MCD).
