Learn the skill of kayak rolling or fine tune your existing roll! We offer instruction and equipment rentals; along with open pool practice. Sessions will be held on Sundays from 3:00-5:30 pm on March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at (the former Beavercreek YMCA) 560 Grange Hall Road. Classes will be personally structured based on your skill level. First time rollers should register for the Starter Class. This session will cover all the basic skills you need before you take your first individual roll class. If you already have a roll you can take advantage of our open pool sessions.

Pool Admission: $12.00 per person. We have reserved four lanes this year.

Classes: Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. You can pre-register by contacting Whitewater Warehouse by e-mail at wwwh@erinet.com or call (937) 222-7020 and leave a message. Class options are listed below.

Equipment Rentals: You must request/reserve equipment ahead of time. Boat rentals are $10 per session.

Open Pool Practice: You can just show up for open pool practice; however, it would be helpful if you could send an email that you plan on attending. Open pool fees can be paid on site (cash or check only). Cost is the $12 pool admission. All participants must sign in and pay, PRIOR to getting in the pool.

Kayaks Must be Squeaky Clean:

This is Very Important! Boat must be absolutely clean before they can go in the pool! In addition to rinsing them, they should be wiped out as well. Please put in the extra effort before showing up to the pool to have your equipment wiped down and clean. We will lose this pool if your boat isn't thoroughly CLEAN! Dirt gets trapped under your seat, walls, and air bags where you can't see it. Air bags must be removed.

Cleaning Tip #1: You can vacuum sand and dirt from your boat when it is dry. Put boat on its side, tap dirt to bottom and vacuum. Add water, swoosh it around under the seat and walls. Dump or sponge out the water. Repeat until clean. Wipe down all surfaces inside and out.

Cleaning Tip #2: If your boat is stored outside, it's a good idea to give it some time to adjust to indoor temps both before cleaning and before putting your boat in the pool.

Class Fees:

Starter Class – $70 (Sign up for this class if this is your first roll lesson)

Standard Roll Class – $45 (includes 2 - 30 minute private sessions)

Tune Up Class – $35 (includes 1 – 30 minute private session)

Additional Fees:

Pool Admission – $12 per week (this pays for the pool rental costs)

Kayak Rentals – $10.00 (boat, spray skirt, paddle)

Nose Plugs – Available for purchase on site (cash or check please)

Payment: At the pool we can accept cash or check. If you want to pay with credit card you must take care of that during store hours. Remember that all classes should be prepaid. All fees include 7.25% in sales tax.
