Safety Skills on the River for Recreational Boaters

Jun 20th 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This is a fun, informative and hands-on class taught by Bernie Farley. A class that every boater should attend. You will learn and practice boat rescues, group dynamics, self rescue, swimmer rescues, and how to use a throw rope, among other things. Safety skills need to be learned and practiced (before you are in a situation where you actually need them). This class is for both whitewater and recreational boaters. Bring your boat, throw rope (if you have one), and come prepared to get wet. Meet at 5:30pm at Whitewater Warehouse.

To encourage and promote safety, a special price of $35 per person will be extended for this class. You can pre-register by contacting Whitewater Warehouse at (937) 222-7020 or by e-mail at [email protected]
